Selenite was named after Selene, Goddess of the moon. When Selenite is placed under moonlight, it is said to carry the harmonizing, restorative energy of that moon. It makes this crystal perfect for cleansing and charging. Hold it, place it in a room, or put it next to objects you want to cleanse.
