Behind Portal 33

Welcome to Portal 33.

Hi, my name is Christina.  

I've been into things like Astrology, numerology, past lives for as long as I can remember.  Crystals came a little bit later.  

It was during my Saturn Return in my late 20s that everything shifted.

A roommate brought me to a small shop filled with tarot decks and crystals. I walked out with a large piece of rose quartz and my first tarot deck. I started doing tarot readings for friends - and something clicked that I hadn't been able to name before.

I was going through a lot of change in multiple areas of life at the time and had recently started looking for a new job.  I wandered into a metaphysical shop I had never been to. To my surprise, an old coworker of mine was the shop's new manager.  Shortly after, I started working there.

There were so many things in that shop I wasn't familiar with, yet there was always a sense of familiarity - almost as if I "remembered" them.

I started doing reiki there and learned to meditate. I read tarot. I learned astrology. I started spending more and more time around the crystals there and felt really drawn to them.  I feel like I've been on one heck of a journey since I started spending time around them.  They are a great tool for self reflection, presence, and tapping into yourself internally. 

I knew I wanted to build something of my own - but I wanted it to feel different. The shops I'd been in felt beautiful and familiar. I wanted something that could hold both the magic and the everyday. Something grounded and practical, but that still felt like stepping into another world.

The Name "Portal 33"

Think of Alice stepping into the rabbit hole. Think of Platform 9¾. The idea of a threshold - an opening to an invisible world that exists just alongside this one, accessible to anyone willing to open themselves up to it.

A portal is also a boundary. Something you can open and close. A way to step into spirit and step back out, feeling safe the whole time.

My life path number is 33 in numerology, it just felt right to carry it's energy over to the shop.

What Portal 33 Is

Portal 33 is a sacred space. A modern metaphysical shop built for people who are done choosing between magic and practicality - because you don't have to.

The crystals here are chosen with intention. The descriptions are written from a combination of study and personal experience.

And the space is designed to feel like something - like you walked through a door into somewhere a little more alive.
